Composers Project

In the summer of 2020, Levine piano and composition faculty member Sam Post set out with colleagues Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal and Ralitza Patcheva to compose music tailored specifically to Levine piano students. Supported a faculty grant, they presented their pieces to the piano faculty, and later in the year, the students had their say in a master class of the new pieces, overseen by the composers. In these videos you see the work of the students coming to fruition.
