Paul Bratcher
Site Director, West Falls VA
Paul Bratcher, a native of Harrisburg Pennsylvania began playing piano at age 11. He began his study of jazz at Bishop McDevitt High School where he played in the Jazz Band under the direction of David Knott. After high school Paul continued his education at Messiah College where he pursued a Bachelors of Science in Music Education. While attending Messiah he had the pleasure of playing with and learning from such jazz masters as, Tim Warfield, Kirk Reese, Cyrus Chestnut and Bruce Barth. After Paul graduated from Messiah he continued his education at Michigan State University studying Jazz Studies under world-renowned bassist Rodney Whitaker. During The time at Michigan State Paul had a plethora of both teaching and playing opportunities. As a teacher Paul worked with the jazz program at MSU Community Music School in Detroit as well a clinician for a variety of high schools in the mid Michigan area. As a player Paul has shared the stage with Rodney Whitaker, Diego Rivera, Etienne Charles, Michael Dease, and Wes “ Warm Daddy” Anderson. After graduating with a M.M. in Jazz Studies Paul has been busy playing and teaching in the D.C. area. He has toured South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Canada, and Uruguay, Egypt, Indonesia and more. Currently Paul is Associate Chair of Piano at the Levine School of Music in Washington D.C. and Director of Jazz Studies at Georgetown University.
Lily Bailor
Assistant to the Site Director, West Falls VA
Hello, I’m Lily Bailor and I am excited to be the Teen Apprentice Coordinator/Assistant to the Site Director this summer at the West Falls campus! I attended Camp Levine both as a camper and as a teen apprentice, I am so happy to be returning for my 12th year!I am a student at the College of William and Mary pursuing a degree in Human Health and Physiology on a pre-nursing track. I play ultimate frisbee and the violin in my spare time. I look forward to working with you and your kids this summer!
Donny Albrecht
Trumpet Teacher, Session 1
Dr. Donny Albrecht is an accomplished trumpet performer and educator, balancing a dynamic career as both a freelance musician and a professor at Frostburg State University. As Professor of Trumpet, he instructs undergraduate and graduate students in jazz and classical trumpet. With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Albrecht has taught at several prestigious music institutions, guiding many students who have achieved success in music or attended top universities.
A member of the Local 161-710 Musicians Union, Dr. Albrecht is an active performer across the Washington, DC, area, frequently performing in theaters and venues throughout the DMV. His freelance career has taken him nationwide, performing with well-known artists such as The Eagles, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Alison Krauss, Doc Severinsen, Tito Puente Jr., Tony Succar, Brenda K. Starr, The Latin Jazz All Stars, Eddie Palmieri, Oscar Arriaga, Chuck Redd, Don Braden, Ernie Watts, Glen Wilson, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, The US Army Ambassadors, and many others. His performance experience also includes collaborations with the York Symphony Orchestra, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, American Pops Orchestra, Defiant Requiem Opera Orchestra, and the National Tree Lighting Orchestra.
In studio work, Dr. Albrecht’s contributions are featured on numerous recordings with groups like the Studio A Band and the Washington Winds at Omega Recording Studios.
Dawoon Jung
Piano Teacher, Session 1
Dawoon is a pianist and instructor at Levine Music with a passion for teaching her students. Her teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, musical expression, and confidence at the piano. She enjoys helping students develop both technical skills and a lifelong love of music.
Douglas Rogers
Guitar Teacher, Session 1 & 2
Douglas Rogers holds a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and a Master of Music in Guitar Performance and Pedagogy, and has completed formal training in Suzuki Guitar.
A frequent performer throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, Douglas has appeared as a featured guest artist on WHRO’s Silver Moonbeams. In addition to his performance career, he has dedicated more than a decade to using music in service of humanitarian causes, including benefit recitals supporting remote communities in Haiti.
Since 2004, Douglas has been a member of the faculty at Levine, where he teaches guitar, Suzuki guitar, and group Suzuki classes. He is committed to nurturing students of all ages while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
Jonathan Andert
Music+ & Vocal/Choral Teacher, Session 1
Jonathan Andert (Mr. Jonathan) is excited to be returning to Camp Levine’s VA Campus for 2026! He just finished his 20th year of teaching music in schools; his 17th year at Terraset ES in Reston, VA (Fairfax County). Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, Jonathan received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Western Michigan University, with an emphasis in Instrumental Music Education. His Masters of Music Education degree is from George Mason University, with an emphasis in Elementary Music. He is a certified teacher of the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education. In Mr. Jonathan’s class, we sing, move, play and create in a fun and welcoming environment.
Claire Cunningham
Art/Dance Teacher, Session 1
Claire Cunningham is a teacher and saxophonist from the DMV area. She recently graduated from Baldwin Wallace University. Claire is excited to return to Camp Levine for the fifth time, this time as a teacher!
Willisa Toney
Drama Teacher, Session 1
I am excited to return to Camp Levine! In addition to teaching drama, I have taught violin and served as Camp Director at various Camp Levine locations. As a violinist, I have performed with world -renowned musicians and played at national and international venues. I look forward to having fun with campers and nurturing their natural talents! I know we’ll have a blast exploring the sights, songs and sounds of the City!
Nicholas Peoples

My name is Nicholas Peoples and, although this is my first year with Camp Levine, I have worked in schools for 9 years as an instructional assistant as as a teacher. As a teacher, I have worked in special education as well as physical education.
