Camp Levine is Hiring!
As the Washington, D.C. area’s premiere fine arts camp, Camp Levine has influenced thousands of children, inspired young musicians, established enduring friendships, and created lifelong memories for over thirty years. We are in search of experienced, enthusiastic arts educators to continue the tradition this summer!
Teaching positions in general music are available, as well as early childhood music, instrumental music, and dance!

Dates
- Session 1: June 28 – July 16
- Session 2: July 19 –August 6
1st & 2nd grade lead teacher
Lead teachers will lead a small group of campers in 1st & 2nd grade and follow a daily schedule to run a variety of classes including arts & crafts, sports & games, instrument building (think rubber band shoebox guitars), Music+ (a general music class), production art (props and sets), lunch, and snack & break.
Dates:
Monday through Friday, 3-week commitment
Session 1: June 28 – July 16
and/or
Session 2: July 19 – August 6
Hours:
8:45am – 4:15pm (7.5 hours a day)

DC Campus: NW – 2801 Upton St. NW, Washington, DC 20008
3rd – 6th grade lead teacher
Lead teachers will lead a small group of campers in 3rd & 4th or 5th & 6th grade and follow a daily schedule to run a variety of classes including arts & crafts, sports & games, instrument building (think rubber band shoebox guitars), Music+ (a general music class), production art (props and sets), lunch, and snack & break.

Monday through Friday, 3-week commitment
Session 1: June 28 – July 16

Session 2: July 19 – August 6

Meet the Instruments – Instrument Faculty
Cannot be percussion, woodwinds, voice, or brass.
The instrument sampler class is for campers in grades PreK / K. The class size will be 5-6 campers. It is a 1-week per instrument commitment. Over the course of 1 week, teachers will introduce their instrument to campers. Lesson plans can include a wide variety or age-appropriate activities, from instrument history and terminology to campers getting to play the instrument.

12:30 – 4:00pm (3.5 hours a day)

Dance
The Dance class is for campers in rising 1st and 2nd grade or 3rd – 6th grade. The dance teacher is responsible for choreographing musical numbers appropriate to the campers’ level of experience. Dance teachers are encouraged to include warm-ups, games, history, and terminology as part of dance class activities.
